African Rivers has embraced the concept of internship or apprenticeship co-opting or recruiting into the organization in order to leverage innovative ideas and energies from the young graduates coming from the local Universities and Colleges across the country and the entire African continent.
The young graduates co-opted as interns are encouraged to participate in various researches and sectoral studies or surveys on identified topical issues affecting the health of the rivers and the local communities including emerging issues in the areas of climate change, floods, droughts, nutrition, population, migration, peace and conflict resolutions, disaster recovery, health and action against hunger in Africa.
This innovative programme is intended to help young graduates and individual startups to acquire relevant experience and necessary industry skills and ultimately contribute to the provision of fresh job opportunities in the country.
